How often does the cleaner need to be changed ?

We recommend changing the filter every 30-90 days. The frequency of how often a filter needs to be changed is dependent on the area a person lives and the conditions of the living area. Living areas with pets will need their filters changed more.

How do I install the vent filter into the register?

To install remove the vent deflector and any vent cover. Grab the vent register from the floor and pull up. Flip the vent register over insert the filter between the grates and the vent. Reinstall the vent register with air and replace air deflector.

Can these vent filtes be washed?

These vent filters are not designed to be washed. They are engineered to be replaced every 30-60 days depending on the environment in which they are used. However, the vent filter material is 100% polyester and washable.

Will this reduce air flow?

Every vent filter will reduce air flow. Northwest Enterprises vent filters have been engineered to find the perfect balance to filtering as much dust, dirt, dander, pollen, and allergens from the air as possible while retaining great air flow.
